PROTEIN COOKIE DOUGH
My husband is the Keto master in our house and has made more iterations of this cookie dough than I can count. The very first batch was with all almond flour. Don’t get me wrong, it still tasted good, but if you’ve ever had almond flour treats that have a distinctive grainy, wet taste.
He went back to the drawing board with a mixture of almond and coconut flour with some protein powder mixed in. Still good but not the right consistency. This version is the best! I have to stop myself from eating it.
NUT ALLERGY
You can omit the peanut butter if you like. It tastes great without it too but we all agreed that we preferred the peanut butter version.
PROTEIN POWDER
You can use any vanilla protein powder you like. Here are a few we’ve used.
CAN I BAKE THESE?
Yes. We have tested this. Although there isn’t an egg in these you can bake these. Bake at 350 degrees F for 6-8 minutes. Let cool slightly on the pan. Eat warm.
WHAT ARE THE NET CARBS?
1.2 grams per ball.
