Many traditional pizza crusts are high in carbs due to the use of flour. However, this cauliflower pizza crust is low in carbs, making it a great option for those following a ketogenic diet.
Ingredients:
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pizza toppings of your choice (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms)
- Tomato sauce
- Additional shredded mozzarella cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice.
- Steam the cauliflower rice in the microwave for 5-6 minutes or until soft. Let it cool.
